Ringnet communications Nodes should be wired in a ring configuration as illustrated in the following
diagram. The maximum permissible distance between nodes is 1Km (using Belden 9829). The interface uses RS485 in a
ring topology. The main controller therefore has two RS485 ports and completes the ring connection – as illustrated in
the following connection diagram and type table.
