If applicable, unlock the server, see "Unlocking the server" on page
49.
▶
Pull the green locking bar (1) and fold out the accessible drive bay cover.
▶
Remove the accessible drive bay cover (2).
CAUTION
▶
Do not pull too hard to avoid damage to the locking mechanism.
When operating with tape drives:
If the system is programmed to eject the media automatically
, the
accessible drives must not be obstructed.
The accessible drive bay cover is replaced and the server locked in the reverse
order.
