USB/RS232 Remote Control Function Check

Invoke a terminal application such as
RealTerm.
To check COM port number and other settings,
see the Device Manager in PC. For WinXP;
Control panel → System → Hardware tab.
Run this query command via the terminal after
the instrument has been configured for USB or
RS-232 remote control.

This should return Model number, Serial number
and Firmware version in the format below:
GWInstek,GPT9513,GDM123456,1.00
CR, LF can be used as the terminal character
when entering queries/commands from a
terminal application.
RMT Display
When the panel is being remotely controlled via
the USB or RS232 interfaces, the RMT indicator
will be displayed on the screen.
