Configuring IPv6 DNS Client
Configuring Static IPv6 Domain Name Resolution
Configuring static IPv6 domain name resolution is to establish the mapping between a host name and
an IPv6 address. When using such applications as Telnet, you can directly input a host name and the
system will resolve the host name into an IPv6 address. Each host name can correspond to only one
IPv6 address.
Follow these steps to configure static IPv6 domain name resolution:

Configuring Dynamic IPv6 Domain Name Resolution
You can use the following command to enable the dynamic domain name resolution function. In addition,
you need to configure a DNS server so that a query request message can be sent to the correct server
for resolution. The system can support at most six DNS servers.
You can configure a DNS suffix so that you only need to enter part of a domain name, and the system
can automatically add the preset suffix for address resolution. The system can support at most 10 DNS
suffixes.
