5.2 Front Panel Root Menu
The front panel Root menu of the ProView 7000 Receiver and Stream Processor Platform is a
simple menu screen.
❖ Press Enter on the front panel default screen to display the ProView 7000 Root menu.
The ProView 7000 front panel Root menu provides access to the following main menus (see
menu tree structure in
Figure 5–2 on page 148):
■ Reception menu, enabling the user to monitor and set-up the reception function of the
ProView 7000 (for details, see 5.2.1 Reception Menu).
■ Decoding menu, enabling the user to monitor and set-up the decoding function of the
ProView 7000 (for details, see 5.2.2 Decoding Menu).
■ Routing and Descrambling menu, enables the user to monitor and set-up routing and
descrambling, for details on useage see 5.2.3 Routing and Descrambling Menu and
3.3.1 Configuring the ProView 7000 using the Front Panel on page 28.
■ GbE menu, use the GbE menu to configure the GbE port parameters, for details see
5.2.4 GbE Menu and 3.3.1 Configuring the ProView 7000 using the Front Panel on page 28.
■ Alarms Table menu, which displays the alarms and status messages detected by the
ProView 7000, for details see 5.2.5 Alarms Table Menu.
■ Presets menu enables you to save several configurations, for details see 5.2.6 Presets
Menu.
■ CAM menu, enables the user to initiate a man machine interface (MMI) to the selected
Conditonal Access Module (CAM). See 5.2.7 CAM Menu.
■ Unit menu, enabling the user to monitor and set-up the ProView 7000 unit features (for
details, see 5.2.8 Unit Menu).
