The displayed properties are divided into two sections; one section (left hand box) displays
the editable properties and the second section displays status properties, not editable by the
EMS user.
The status information properties section can be displayed or hidden, using the
Hide Status or
Show Status buttons, accordingly. The button is located on the lower left corner of the dialog.
Editable Properties
The editable properties consist of the following:
Modulation Standard – Options:
Automatic

DVB-S2

NOTE: Some of the following properties are relevant for only one modulation standard (DVB-S or
DVB-S2) and displayed accordingly.
Symbol Rate – Sets the symbol rate value. Range 1,000,000 – 45,000,000 Bd, adjustable in
100 Bd steps.
Spectral Inversion – Sets the mode of operation for the spectral inversion function.
Options:
Automatic – Default for DVB-S.

Normal Default for DVB-S2.

Inverted
Modulation and FEC – Sets the modulation scheme and forward error correction for the
receiver.
DVB-S options:
Automatic – modulation and FEC set by the device
