CYLINDER REMOVAL
Remove the cylinder head. (Refer to Section
6)
Remove the cam chain tensioner clip and pin.
NOTE
I
Do not drop the clip and pin into the
/
I
crankcase.
Remove the tensioner lock nut, washer and
O-ring.
Remove the tensioner base.
Remove the cam chain guide.
Remove the cylinder.
Clean the bare of the cylinder head.
CHAIN GUIDE
Remove the cylinder gasket, dowel pins
and oil control orifices.

CYLINDER INSPECTION
Inspect the cylinder bores for wear
