8.1 Boards Supported by the S9300
This section describes the boards supported by the S9300.
NOTE
Currently, the LPUs of the S9300 can be classified into S-series boards, E-series boards, F series boards
and EPON board. The details are as follows:
l The S-series boards include only the SA boards, for example, 24-port 100M/1000M Ethernet optical
interface card (SA, SFP)-32K MAC
l The E-series boards include EA, EC, and ED boards, for example, 48-port 100M/1000M Ethernet
optical interface card (EA, SFP)-32K MAC
l The F-series boards include only FA boards, for example, 48-port 1000M Ethernet optical interface
card (FA, SFP)-32K MAC
l The EPON board provides 12 1000M EPON optical interfaces and 12 100M/1000M optical interfaces
(SFP).
Table 8-1 lists the boards supported by the S9300.

used to provide the switch stacking function
