12.Turn on the Marker Delta function of the spectrum analyzer being used.
13.Change the A10 Attenuator B setting to 10 dB by pressing AMPTD,
Attenuation, Mech Atten, 10 dB.
14.Verify that the signal level on the spectrum analyzer drops by 10 dB (±0.25
dB) from where it was, as shown in Figure 4-14.
If the signal level is incorrect the most likely cause of the problem is the
A10 Attenuator B assembly itself. However, before replacing an A10
Attenuator B assembly for any failure, refer to Chapter 8, “Front End
Control.” for information on how to verify the control signals to it.
