4. Referring to Figure 4-16, disconnect W6 from the A23 Limiter assembly
LED Drive Output (P2).
5. Turn the instrument on and allow it to complete its boot up process,
ignoring any error messages.
6. Connect a signal generator to the instrument RF Input 2, as shown in
Figure 4-16.
7. Tune the signal generator to 100 MHz with an amplitude of −20 dBm.
8. Connect a spectrum analyzer to the A23 Limiter assembly Output (J103),
as shown in Figure 4-16.
9. Tune the spectrum analyzer to a frequency of 100 MHz with a span of
10 MHz.
10.Verify that the signal level on the spectrum analyzer is at −29 dBm
(±1.5 dB), as shown in Figure 4-17, allowing for any additional test cable
loss.
