3. Turn the instrument on and allow it to complete its boot up process,
ignoring any error messages.
4. Turn the instrument self-alignment routine off by pressing System,
Alignments, Auto Align, Off.
5. Connect a signal generator to the A22 Radiated Filter assembly RF Input
(J100), as shown in Figure 5-4.
6. Set the power level of the signal generator to 20 dBm.
7. Connect a spectrum analyzer to the A22 Radiated Filter assembly RF
Output (J300), as shown in Figure 5-5.
Filter Path Verification
8. Tune the spectrum analyzer to a center frequency and span equal to that
shown in Table 5-8 for Band 0.
9. Tune the A22 Radiated Filter assembly to the Band 0 filter path by
entering the Service menu and pressing More, RF Preselector, Band Lock,
Radiated, Band 0.
10.Tune the filter passband center frequency by pressing Tuned Frequency
and entering the Center Frequency value found in Table 5-8 for the filter
band selected, while in the Radiated band selection area of the Service
menu.
Connection to A22J300 will require the use of a Type-M adapter or a Type-M to BNC cable, part
number N9039-60034.
