TKS Ice Protection

Ice Light Switch
(Positions for ON and OFF)
The ice detection lights are mounted in each crew door and are aimed along
the leading edge of each wing for easy detection of ice at night.

SYSTEM ANNUNCIATIONS
The following annunciations are provided with the ice protection system:

TKS LOW PRESS
Low TKS Fluid Pressure.
TKS HI PRESS
High TKS Fluid Pressure.
TKS LOW QTY
TKS uid quantity critically low. Less than 1.5 gallons uid quantity.
TKS LOW QTY
TKS uid quantity low. Less than 23 minutes duration at current ow
rate.
TKS LOW FLOW
Low TKS ow rate.
TKS HI FLOW
High TKS ow rate.
STALL HT FL
Stall/AOA vane heater failure.
HI ICE SPEED
Ice protection airspeed high.
LO ICE SPEED
Ice protection airspeed low.
TKS BACKUP
Backup TKS pump selected.
INLET NOT BP
Engine inlet in normal position. Select bypass.
TKS NRM MODE
TKS normal mode selected.
TKS HI MODE
TKS high mode selected.
TKS MAX MODE
TKS max mode selected.
Uncontrolled if printed
