The drive chain is supplied with oil via the central chain lubrication system, refer to page91.

The drive chain(1) of the front bale formation conveyor drive is on the left side of the machine.
The dimensionX

of the tensioned spring length(4) must be X
1
=220mm.
The dimensionX
2
of the stop rubber(7) must be within a range of X
2
=105-110mm.
Setting drive chain
ü The machine is shut down and safeguarded, refer to page25.
ü The left side hood is open.
 To tension the drive chain(1), use the nut on the eyelet bolt(5) to set the dimension
X
1
=220mm.
If the spring tension cannot be set to the dimension X
1
in this way:
 Remove the support(3).
 Turn and mount the support(3) vertically by 180°.
 Mount the spring(4) on the borehole(2).
 Use the nut on the eyelet bolt(5) to set the dimension X
1
=220mm.
Setting the stop
 To set the stop, use the nut(8) to set the dimension X
1
=105-110mm.
 Ensure that the support(6) and stop rubber(7) do not touch each other and that there is a
slight gap.
