Possible cause Remedy
The density of the bale core
has been set too solid.
 Adjust the density of the bale core, refer to page147.
 If required, reduce the baling pressure.
17.2 Disturbances during or after the baling process
Malfunction: The bale formation conveyor is rotating slower than it should. Slippage is
occurring.
Possible cause Remedy
The baling pressure is too
high.
 Reduce the baling pressure, refer to page146.
The rotational speed is too
high.
 Reduce the rotatonal speed.
The sensor B01 "Speed of
bale chamber" is defective.
 Check the sensor and the cabling for damage, refer to
page202.
The crops consist of very
heavy grass without structure
(e.g. clover grass).
 Reduce the density of the bale core, refer to page147.
 Have the KRONE service partner install an additional drive.
The additional drive can be ordered by quoting order number
20063652*.
Malfunction: Pressure does not build up.
Possible cause Remedy
The handwheel for setting the
baling pressure is in the park-
ing position.
 Turn the handwheel to the working position, refer to
page146.
 Set the required baling pressure on the handwheel, refer to
page146.
Disturbance: The round bale does not roll or rolls just slowly out of the bale chamber.
Possible cause Remedy
The sides are filled excess-
ively.
 Produce narrower swaths, refer to page66.
 Do not drive too far on the side.
The baling pressure is too
high.
 To reduce the baling pressure, refer to page146.
Malfunction: The machine is running unevenly and the baling process in the bale chamber is
difficult to start.
Possible cause Remedy
The density of the bale core is
too high.
 Reduce the density of the bale core, refer to page147.
 Reduce the baling pressure, refer to page146.
Malfunction: The hydraulic oil has become too hot.
Possible cause Remedy
The hydraulic oil filter is
blocked.
 Change the hydraulic oil filter, refer to page194.
Disturbance: The tailgate cannot be closed completely.
