8.4 CANopen
CANopen is an internaonally approved communicaon protocol which is designed for com-
mercial and industrial automaon applicaons. High dat
a transfer rates in connecon with
ecient data formang provide for the coordinaon of moon control devices in mul-axis
applicaons.
Informaon about the dimensioning of a CANopen network can be found in the
conguraon document for the inverter.
Precondions
•
Con
tr
ol unit (CU) of the in

er is provided with Modbus/CANopen.
•
Modbus/CANopen selector at the inverter front is set to "CANopen".
8.4.1 CANopen introducon
•
The Lenze implementaon of the CANopen communicaon prole (CiA DS301, version 4.02)
enables baud r
ates from 20 kbps to 1 Mbps.
•
For establishing a simple network connecon, the inverter provides predened control and
status words for device prole CiA402, AC drive prole and in LECOM format. Addionally,
further mappable data words are provided to individually control the inverter.
•
The inverter control is precongured via a CiA402-compliant control word.
8.4.2 CANopen node address
Each network node must be provided with a unique node address.
Details
•
The node address can be set in 0x2301:001 (PAR 510/001).
•
The
seng that is acve when the inverter is switched on is the eecve seng.
•
The acve node address is shown in 0x2302:001 (PAR 511/001).
