7.3 Opmisaon of motor control
The inverter provides dierent funcons by means of which the drive behaviour can be fur-
ther opmised.
7.3.1 Volt
age boost
The parameterisable voltage boost makes it possible to improve the starng performance for
applicaons requiring a high starng torque.
Precondions
"V/f characterisc control (VFC open loop)" motor control has been selected in 0x2C00
(PAR 300). Otherwise the voltage boost is not eecve.

V/f voltag
e boost: Fixed boost
(V/f boosts: V/f boost: stat.)
0.0 ... [2.5]* ... 20.0 %
Default seng depending on the size.
Fixed (constant) voltage boost for V/f characterisc control without feed-
back.
100 % ≡ V/f base voltage 0x2B01:001 (PAR 303/001)
For the purpose of opmising the starng performance for applica-
ons requiring a high starng torque.

V/f voltage boost: Boost at acceleraon
(V/f boosts: V/f boost: dyn.)
0.0 ... [0.0] ... 20.0 %
Addional voltage boost for V/f characterisc control without feedback.
100 % ≡ V/f base voltage 0x2B01:001 (PAR 303/001)
This voltage boost is only acve while the motor is accelerated. It
then acts in addion to the xed voltage boost set in 0x2B12:001
(PAR 316/001).

(V/f char. data: Base voltage)
0 ... [230]* ... 5000 V
Default seng depending on the size.
Voltage in the reference point of the V/f characterisc.
The V/f base voltage is usually se
t to the rated motor voltage
0x2C01:007 (PAR 320/007).
7.3.2 Skip frequencies
By means of the three parameterisable skip frequencies, crical frequencies can be sup-
pressed which lead to mechanical resonances in the s
ystem.
Details
A skip frequency is acve when the skip frequency and the corresponding s
top bandwidth
are set to a non-zer
o value.
The skip frequency denes the centre point of the range to be suppressed, and the stop
bandwidth denes its total size. In the case of a skip frequency = 20 Hz and stop bandwidth
= 10 Hz, for example the range from 15 Hz to 25 Hz is suppressed.
Skip frequencies are absolute values. With the seng "20 Hz", at the same me also the
skip frequency "-20 Hz" is dened.
The seng of a range including the frequency "0 Hz" (standsll) is invalid and is therefore
ignored.
