11.10 Process controller funcon selecon
By means of the following funcons, the response of the inverter in process controller mode
can be controlled. 4
Conguring the process controller ^ 138
Parameter Name / value range / [default seng] Info
0x2631:045
(PAR 400/045)
Funcon assignment: Process con
troller o
(Funcon list: PID o)
For possible sengs see descripon for
0x2631:001 (PAR 400/001). ^ 188
Assignment of a trigger for the "Process controller o" funcon.
Trigger = TRUE: if process controller mode is acve, ignore PID control
and actuate the drive in speed-controlled manner.
Trigger = FALSE: if process controller mode is acve, actuate the drive
with PID control.
Notes:
The PID control mode can be selected in 0x4020:001 (PAR 600/001).
00 Not connected No trigger assigned (trigger is constantly FALSE).
0x2631:046
(PAR 400/046)
Funcon assignment: Set process controller output to
0
(Funcon list: PID output=0)
For possible sengs see descripon for
0x2631:001 (PAR 400/001). ^ 188
Assignment of a trigger for the "Set process controller output to 0" func-
on.
Trigger = TRUE: if process controller mode is acve, the I-component and
the output of the process controller are set to 0 and the internal control
algorithm is stopped. Process controller mode remains acve.
Trigger = FALSE: no acon / deacvate funcon again.
00 Not connected No trigger assigned (trigger is constantly FALSE).
0x2631:047
(PAR 400/047)
Funcon assignment: Inhibit process controller I-
component
(Funcon list: PID-I inhibited)
For possible sengs see descripon for
0x2631:001 (PAR 400/001). ^ 188
Assignment of a trigger for the "Inhibit process controller I-component"
funcon.
Trigger = TRUE: if process controller mode is acve, the I-component of
the process controller is set to 0 and the integraon process is stopped.
Trigger = FALSE: no acon / deacvate funcon again.
Notes:
The reset me can be set in 0x4049 (PAR 602).
00 Not connected No trigger assigned (trigger is constantly FALSE).
0x2631:048
(PAR 400/048)
Funcon assignment: Acvate process controller
inuence ramp
(Funcon list: PID-Inf ramp on)
For possible sengs see descripon for
0x2631:001 (PAR 400/001). ^ 188
Assignment of a trigger for the "Acvate process controller inuence
ramp" funcon.
Trigger = TRUE: the inuence of the process controller is shown via a
ramp.
Trigger = FALSE or not connected: the inuence of the process controller
is hidden via ramp.
Notes:
The inuence of the process controller is always acve (not only in
process controller mode).
Acceleraon me for showing the inuence of the process controller
can be set in 0x404C:001 (PAR 607/001).
Deceleraon me for hiding the inuence of the process controller
can be set in 0x404C:002 (PAR 607/002).
01 Constant TRUE Trigger is constantly TRUE.
0x4020:001
(PAR 600/001)
Process controller: Operang mode
(Process controller: Operang mode)
Selecon of the process controller operang mode.
0 Inhibited Process controller deacvated.
1 Normal operaon If the controlled variable (actual value) fed back is reduced, the motor
speed is increased.
Example: pressure-controlled booster pumps (increase in the motor
speed produces an increase in pressure.)
2 Reversing duty If the controlled variable (actual value) fed back is reduced, the motor
speed is also reduced.
Example: temperature-controlled cooling water pump (increase in motor
speed produces decrease in temperature.)
3 Normal operaon in both rotang direcons As selecon 1, but also inverted rotang direcon possible if both rotat-
ing direcons are enabled with the seng 0x283A (PAR 304) = 1.
4 Reversing duty in both rotang direcons As selecon 2, but also inverted rotang direcon possible if both rotat-
ing direcons are enabled with the seng 0x283A (PAR 304) = 1.
0x4049
(PAR 602)
I component reset me
(I-deceleraon)
20 ... [400] ... 6000 ms
Reset me for system deviaon.
With the seng "6000 ms", the I component is deacvated.
The I component can also be deacvated via a trigg
er assigned in
0x2631:047 (PAR 400/047) of the "Inhibit process con
troller I-
component" 0x2631:047 (PAR 400/047) funcon.
