Paper exit fan removal
1 Remove the scanner interface cable cover. See “Scanner interface cable cover removal” on page 344.
2 Remove the controller board access cover. See “Controller board access cover removal” on page 345.
3 Remove the engine board cover. See “Engine board cover removal” on page 346.
4 Remove the upper rear cover. See “Upper rear cover removal” on page 346.
5 Disconnect the cable (A), and then remove the six screws (B).

6 Remove the duct, and then remove the fan.
IHPS frame removal
