ADF top cover assembly removal
1 Remove the ADF front cover. See “ADF front cover removal” on page 402.
2 Remove the ADF rear cover. See “ADF rear cover removal” on page 410.
3 Disconnect the J14 cable from the ADF controller board.
4 Remove the ground screw (A) from the rear of the ADF top cover assembly.
5 Remove the screws (B) (C) from the shafts on the front and rear of the ADF top cover assembly, and then remove
the shaft.
6 Remove the ADF top cover assembly.

3 Remove the ADF top cover assembly. See “ADF top cover assembly removal” on page 413.
