5 Disconnect the cable (A), and then remove the screw (B).

6 Remove the sensor.
Sensors (ADF tray section) removal
1 Remove the ADF front cover. See “ADF front cover removal” on page 402.
2 Remove the ADF tray bottom cover. See “ADF tray bottom cover removal” on page 415.
3 Disconnect the cable from the appropriate sensor.
4 Remove the appropriate sensor.
