4 Remove the two screws (D), and then remove the motor from the bracket.

1 Remove the ADF rear cover. See “ADF rear cover removal” on page 410.
2 Remove the motor (ADF registration). See “Motor (ADF registration) removal” on page 436.
3 Disconnect the cable (A), and then remove the spring (B).
