5.7 Heating and air-conditioning system

Cooling The illustration shows only a sample setting. Always adjust the setting to
the current conditions.
• Switch the air-conditioning on – the lamp (4) lights up.
• Turn the switch (3) as far as it will go, to Cold.
• Turn the switch (1) to the desired level – with recalculated air, you will be
able to cool more quickly, but no oxygen is fed in.
• Set the air distribution with switch (2) – open the air vents if necessary;

• Close the push-up roof; à p. 3 - 70.
Drying You can dry the air in the driver's cab.
• Switch the air-conditioning on – the lamp (4) lights up.
• Turn the switch (3) as far as it will go, to Warm.
• Turn the switch (1) to the desired level – adjust the fresh air/recalculated
air setting to the current conditions (humidity and temperature of the out-
side air).
• Set the air distribution with switch (2) – open the air vents if necessary;

• Close the push-up roof; à p. 3 - 70.
When drying, the air-conditioning system and the heating system work
against each other. After drying, switch off the device that you do not
require.
