4.2.3 CAPPING
 Outline
Adjusts the location for capping and wiper. Adjusted value is saved in the system parameter.
 Adjustment procedure
1. Select [#ADJUST] -> [CAPPING].
2. Adjust the capping position.
(1) Be sure to adjust it to the position at which the cap may con-
tact the head.
(2) Turn off the power supply, and check that the carriage does
not move to the table side.
[]/[]: Horizontally shifts the head.
[ENTER]: Finalizes
[END]: End
3. After adjustment, register with the [END] key and then termi-
nate the operation.

 When the excitation of the motor has been cut, the
carriage may move to the table side by itself. At
this time, the cap Assy moves to the bottom, and it
results in capping defect. Therefore, be sure to
check (2) above.
