Remove files Removes selected files from the list.
Device Select the external device (and the server, which the device is connected to),
on which the files are to be stored. The following devices are selectable:
XFLOPPY_35 (3.5"-Floppy 1.2 MB), XFLOPPY_525 (5.25"-Floppy, 1.2 MB
oder 720 kB), XRES_TAPE, XRES_QIC, XRES_CARTRIDGE. These de-
vices can be connected to every server in the master-slave network.
Format Floppy Defines if the floppy is formatted at the beginning of the export process. Ob-
viously this function is not available for tape drives.
Start Export When clicking the start Export button, the selected files are copied to a tem-
porary directory and written to the selected output device.
Note: The output device is written newly, so existing data on the output
device are overwritten. This applies to floppies, too. When clicking
to the Start button you will be asked by the Input process, whether
you want to overwrite the data on the output device. It is possible to
save the content of the output device before overwriting it using the
Xerox Format Resource Import window.
All files in the list will be written on the medium. During this process mes-
sages will be issued in the messages window by the I-filter.
If errors occur during import (e.g. no floppy in drive) a message box appears
displaying all relevant ifilter messages.
Cancel Operation Cancels the the export job started.
