4.7.6 QuickPrint Advanced
The ’QuickPrint’ Advanced mode offers more possibilities than the QuickPrint Easy mode.
You cannot only print files but also save them to a Print File Library (archive). Saved docu-
ments can be controlled in a viewer. You can choose one or more files of the same type
and either print them or save them to a Print File Library. Additionall you can select ready-
to-print documents from the PFL and print them again.
You can also use the QuickPrint Advanced mode as a 'guest' user, but you cannot upload
or print files with this user identification.
To get access to this mode you have to activate the corresponding entry on registration. If
you want to save documents you also have to activate the entry 'store documents in librar-
ies' during the registration procedure.
The QuickPrint Advanced mode is recommended if you want to save files on the PRIS-
MAproduction server or if you want to print files from print file libraries or if you want to store
ready-to-print data in print file libraries.
Main Window
The main area of the window is divided into three sections:
’Source’ The left section lists all files which can be processed. If you select uploaded, all
uploaded files are shown. If you select Archive all files in the archive (selected un-
der Target) are displayed.
’Description’ The middle section of the window takes all the parameters for the job and the file.
’Target’ The right section describes the target i.e. the printer and the print file library. The
print file library represents the archive in which you store the data, if you select
Store, and from which the data is taken, if you specify Target = Archive.
