9.5 Job Queue Information
Monitors the status of print jobs in the teletype environment.
The status information functions are activated with the following command.
Splstat [{Option} {Function} {Operand}]
Entering the command without a function or operand displays general information on the
splstat command
Command: splstat -d [Function] [Operand] is used for displaying job settings.
Overview of functions and operands:
‘splstat -d all (jobcl)’ Display all spool Ids (for class
‘jobcl’)
‘... job {job id}’ Display job
‘... status {job id}’ Display job status
‘... copies {job id}’ Display copy count
‘... jobcl {job id}’ Display job class
‘splstat –s'
‘... copies {value} {job id}’ Change copy count
‘... jobcl {value} {job id}’ Change job queue
‘... printer {printer} {job id}’ Change destination printer
‘... range {vlaue} {job id}’ Set printing range
‘... deljob {job id}’ Delete one job
‘... lock {job id}’ Lock (halt) one job
‘... release {job id}’ Release one job
‘... express {job id}’ Express one job
Command Function Operand Explanation
splstat -d all 0-999 Displays the following information for each print job
in the spool:
Job Id of print job
Name of the job
Number of copies
Job class
Form
Status of print job
If an operand is specified, only the jobs of that class
are displayed.
