mgmAgentControl This variable is used to control the agent
process. Self-test is for internal use only,
and should not be set by the user. A warm-
start causes the agent to reinitialize the
MIB database and the most important inter-
nal variables. A cold-start causes the agent
process to restart and initialize the MIB
data with defaults or system parameters.
Agent-hold causes the agent-process to
terminate itself. Read-access to this object
usually returns the operation-state value.
After the occurrence of an internal error,
the object returns the value error-state.
This value will not be automatically set to
one of the other states. It may only be
changed by the operator.
