Description Sets the Message Waiting ring interval time for a standard
telephone.
Selection Time (minutes): 0 through 64
Default 0 min (no ring)
Programming 1. Enter 216.
Display: 216 MW RING TIME
2. Press NEXT.
Display example: Interval: 0 min
3. Enter the time.
To change the current entry, press CLEAR and enter the new time.
4. Press STORE.
5. Press END.
Conditions • When the interval time is set to “0”, the telephone does not ring for
Message Waiting notification.
• Selecting the message waiting ring type, 3 quick rings or 2 normal
rings, in program [990] “System Additional Information, Field (40)” is
available. If you prefer soft ringing, select “3 quick rings”. In this case,
there may be some kinds of telephones which do not ring.
