4.11.15 BY-PASS SEPARATION ROLLER PRESSURE
ADJUSTMENT
1. Loosen the separation roller gear [A].
The position of the drive gear for the separation roller can be changed in order to
change the amount of pressure exerted by the separation roller. This adjustment can
be done:
When feeding special paper, especially thick paper
When the customer experiences feed problems
The separation roller gear is positioned at the groove before shipping.
2. Move the separation roller gear right to increase the pressure to correct misfeeds.
