Gen II User Manual
21-2 - Test Tach Power Chapter 21 Revision 2.01, Apr 20
NOTE
Tach Channels 3 & 4 are only available on the Viper II
From this screen, you have a quick method of providing power to each of the four tach channels
with no further configuration. Pressing [F0] will return you to the Main Menu. Pressing [F1],
[F2], [F3], or [F4] will change the bottom line of the screen to display “Tach Power: TACH X”
(where X indicates the selected channel) thereby providing power to the selected channel. The
block just above the selected channel will also change appearance. The button will become dark
with light lettering, indicating the channel to which the tach should be connected. The tach will
receive power and any output should be visible at this point.
Pressing [F5] “Off” will turn power to the selected channel off.
To exit the screen, you can either press [OK] or [F0] “Back up.”
