15.1.8. – Collecting Data
After a brief “Please wait… Preparing to acquire data” message, the overall values are displayed
as shown below. The analyzer will begin data acquisition as soon as the screen is displayed. For
a description of the fields and function keys, see paragraphs 15.1.8.1 and 15.1.8.1.3 below

15.1.8.1. – Fields displayed when viewing Overall
15.1.8.1.1. Samples:” – Number of data samples collected by the analyzer. An increasing numeric
value will be displayed as soon as the screen is displayed.
15.1.8.1.2. Channel” – Displays the descriptions entered in paragraph 15.1.1.1.59 for each vibration
sensor and paragraph 15.1.1.3 for each Viper II tach channel.
15.1.8.1.3. Current” – Displays the current values for each channel configured.
15.1.8.1.4. MxChan(x)” – Displays the maximum values reached for each channel configured.
