percentage of error (Error) in the averaging. If you wish to reset the averaging and take new data,
press the [F1] “Reset” key. The data can be viewed in a polar chart format by pressing the [F2]
“Polar” key as shown in the example below. When the top line of this screen displays,
“Complete! Press OK”, press the [OK] key to continue. This message will appear when a
minimum number of consistent samples have been collected and it is ok to stop data acquisition.
If you are conducting a two (2) engine balance, this process will be repeated for the second
engine.
4.1.7. – Review Job
When you are finished acquiring data, the “Review Job” banner screen (shown below) is
displayed next. The amplitude and phase (Mag/DEG.) are displayed for each engine and each
sensor input channel. Data is displayed for only the input channels that were used for the job;
others are left blank. Pressing the [F4] “Polar” key will produce the polar chart for the run as
shown in the second screen example below.
