24.2.6. –Multiple Vibration Channels
If multiple vibration channels are configured, additional converging scales and numerical data
columns will be displayed as shown in the screenshot below.
NOTE
Vibe Channels C & D are only available in the Viper II
24.3. -Reading Polar Charts
The Polar chart is a circular graph on which data points are displayed using the angle, and the
distance from the center point. The X axis is located on the boundaries of the circle and
represents the phase or clock angle of the vibration. The Y axis connects the center of the circle
with the X axis and represents the vibration magnitude.
24.3.1. –Phase Angle Polar Chart
The phase angle Polar Chart, as shown in the illustration below, appears in most fixed wing-
based analyzer functions such as Propeller Balance, Fan Trim Balance, and Monitor Magnitude
and Phase.
