12.1 Overview
Table 12-1 lists the sections in this chapter that provide overview information about
ONT unit data sheets.

12.2 Unit data sheet overview
Unit data sheets provide detailed information about ONTs produced by
Alcatel-Lucent for the 7342 ISAM FTTU. The unit data sheets supplement
information provided elsewhere in the documentation.
Unit data sheets typically provide the following types of information:
• Identification
The identification section provides ordering information and a brief unit
description of the ONT.
• General description
The general description section provides information on applicable services and
functions supported by the ONT.
• Hardware and software features
The hardware and software features section provides links to all applicable
information about the ONT as described in the general system description volume
of the 7342 ISAM FTTU ONT Product Information Manual.
• Special considerations
The special considerations section provides additional information about an ONT
that only applies to the ONT described in the UDS.
