To restore the alarm, press the button and hold down for 3 to 5 seconds.
41.6 Alarms
Audible alarms alert the user of abnormal or service-effecting conditions on the
Delta DUPS-1232A UPS.
Table 41-4 describes battery backup audio alarms and signal information.

41.7 Connections
The Delta DUPS-1232A UPS has the following connections:
• input connector/plug: IEC 320/C5, NEMA 1-15P, 3-prong plug/pass thru
• cord length: 8.0 ft (2.44 m)
• output connector: 3.5 mm (0.14 inch) 7-position screw terminal connectors
• auxiliary input power connector: DC jack, 3.5 mm (0.14 inch) OD return, 1.3 mm
(0.05 inch) ID positive center
Figure 41-2 shows the UPS output power and alarm connector.

The on-battery alarm indicates that the UPS is operating
using the battery backup.

REPLACE BATTERY The replace-battery alarm indicates that the battery has
failed the self test.
Replace the battery if there is a failure.

BATTERY MISSING The battery-missing alarm indicates that the battery is
missing or there is an open circuit.

BATTERY LOW The low-battery alarm indicates that the battery charger
has fallen below 45% capacity when operating from the
battery.
