39.1 Identification
Table 39-1 provides identification information about the ONT power supply with
battery backup from CyberPower Systems, Inc.

39.2 Features and application notes
The UPS provides:
• 50 W power capability with 48 V dc on battery output voltage
• input voltage range of 85 to 264 V ac at 40 to 70 Hz frequency range
• sealed, maintenance-free, lead-acid battery (12 V 20 Ah)
• battery diagnostic LEDs, and battery status outputs
The UPS meets:
• UL 60950-1, CSA C22.2 No. 60950-1, NEBS Level 1 and 3 (GR1089 and
GR63), FCC Part 15 Class B
39.3 General description
The UPS converts ac input power (87 to 264 V ac) to dc power (50 W, 48 V dc). The
battery provides up to 8 h of backup power for the lifeline POTS service, depending
on environmental conditions and load.
An audible alarm is available on the UPS to monitor the operational status of the
backup battery. LED status indicators also provide the service personnel with
information on the status of the ac input, dc output, and battery.
39.4 Status LEDs
Three indicator LEDs are present on the front of the UPS. Each LED is labeled with
an icon. The LEDs and the icons, with their meanings, are shown in Table 39-2. The
operating mode can be determined by the state of these LEDs.
