VLAN tagging behavior
Before traffic can be routed to and from the I-040G-A indoor ONT, the following
conditions must be met:
A default C-VLAN must be created for each Ethernet port. The VLAN must be
unique for Ethernet port 1 and 2 or 3 and 4 on the ONT. The C-VLAN packet
received at the ONT must be the same as the default C-VLAN or the packet is
dropped.
The default VLAN can be configured using the CVLANDEF parameter of the
ENT-ONTENETTL1 command described in the 7342 ISAM FTTU Operations
and Maintenance Procedures Guide using TL1 and CLI. A null value will not be
accepted.
The CVLAN ID of any HSI service cannot be 0.
Default P-bits must be configured on each Ethernet port.
This can be configured using the ENT-QOS-MARKPROF command described
in the 7342 ISAM FTTU Operations and Maintenance Procedures Guide using
TL1 and CLI.
DSCP to 1P mapping rules are reduced from 64 to 8 with only the highest 3 bits
of the DSCP area used to determine P-bit value; see Table 17-4.
This can be configured using the ENT-PROFILE-DSCPBITMAP command
described in the 7342 ISAM FTTU Operations and Maintenance Procedures
Guide using TL1 and CLI.
