UPS model prior to FGH 1.0.5 (ANSI)
For the UPS model before FGH1.0.5, there are four operating modes:
Normal: Under normal operating conditions, both green lights are on and the red
light is off. The load receives its power from the utility. The battery charge is
maintained.
On-Battery: During a commercial utility outage, the UPS supplies the load from
battery power. The green DC Output LED light is on and the green AC Present
LED light is off.
Low-Battery: When the UPS operates on battery for extended periods, the battery
charge is depleted, and the UPS shuts down. In this case, all lights are off. The
UPS remains off until utility power is restored.
Overload: When the UPS shuts down due to an overload, the green DC Output
LED light is off. After 30 s, the UPS automatically restarts.
The UPS has three LEDs on the front panel. The operating mode can be determined
by the state of these LEDs; see Table 34-3.
