For example, M-300-A identifies the following characteristics:
• M – a modular ONT
• 3 – three service plug-in unit slots
• 00 – no RF video interface
• A – the variant
Table 1-4 provides the designation for the business ONTs.

featuring an uppercase G following the fourth digit in the mnemonic.

• 0 – no RF video interface
• 2 – two DS1/E1 interfaces
