18.2 General description
The indoor ONT provides the subscriber interface for the 7342 ISAM FTTU. The
ONT terminates the PON interface and converts it to user interfaces that directly
connect to subscriber devices. The ONT is compatible with all existing subscriber
equipment, including analog phones with both tone and rotary dial capabilities,
cordless phones, modems, fax machines, and caller ID boxes (Type I, Type II, and
Type III).
The I-211M-D ONT meets or exceeds the specifications of MoCA 1.0 as determined
by the Multimedia over Coax Alliance (MoCA).

— The Delta 38 W, 12 V dc OPSU/BBU is a
power supply equipped with a backup
battery. The OPSU/BBU is located at a
subscriber location and converts ac input
(90 to 135 V ac, 47 to 63Hz) to a dc output
(47.5 to 52 V dc). The backup battery
provides up to 8 hours of temporary power
in the event of power loss.
The 3FE 51307 AA comes equipped with an
extra amount of OPSU to BBU cable for
remote OPSU installations while the 3FE
51307 BA does not.
