32.2 General description
The O-00240V-A MDU outdoor ONT provides the VDSL2 interface with VDSL2
modems at the subscriber’s premises. The VDSL2 modem interfaces directly with
the subscriber devices such as phones and fax machines.
This outdoor ONT provides the following functions:
• interworking functions between the GEM and Ethernet layers
• mux and demux functions to the PON
• optical to electrical conversion
