Chapter 9. Circuits
The Circuits configuration screen supports separate windows for traffic and
auxiliary connections:
Traffic circuits are carried in the payload.
Auxiliary circuits are carried in the LINK (RAC or DAC 155oM) overhead,
together with the NMS.
Circuits are routed between plug-ins via the TDM bus.
Before circuits are configured you should have at hand a listing of all circuits to
be configured, including circuit names.
Refer to:
Circuits Configuration - Traffic on page 9-2
Circuits Configuration - Auxiliary on page 9-14
The circuits screen applies to 9500 MXC INU/INUe, and to IDU ES.
IDU ES circuits functionality for Ethernet, E1/DS1 tributaries, and AUX is similar
to an INU/INUe fitted with 1xRAC, 1xDAC 16x, and 1xAUX plug-ins.
