AUX Menu
The AUX System/Controls screen supports line and radio facing loopbacks on
each of the available communications channels; three for an AUX plug-in, one
for an IDU AUX module. Safety timers are not currently supported.
Loopback Points
Figure 15-25 illustrates the loopback application points within an INU/INUe for
a RAC 30V3 and DAC 16x. For other plug-ins and for the IDUs, the loopback
points are:
RAC 3X and RAC 40 loopbacks are as for RAC 30V3.
All PDH/SDH DAC plug-ins support line and radio facing loopbacks (E1/DS1,
E3/DS3, STM1/OC3). Loopbacks are not supported on the DAC ES or
DAC GE.
The AUX plug-in supports line and radio facing loopbacks; as for trib DACs.
The IDUs support:
Line and radio facing loopbacks on all PDH/SDH tribs.
Digital and IF loopbacks.
Line and radio facing loopbacks on the AUX module.
