Port/Channel Status
The Port/Channel Status screen details:
• Connection status and speed setting.
• Port Rx and Tx frame totals for enabled ports.
• Channel connection status and speed setting (DAC GE only)
• Channel Rx and Tx frame totals (DAC GE only).
• Link Rx and Tx data rates.
Frame counts are captured from the time a DAC ES or DAC GE is configured
providing it remains powered-up.
Figure 15-24 shows an example screen. Port status displays in the upper frame,
and Channel status in the lower.
Item Description
1 C1 is selected for the detail view.
2 Shows C1 Rx and Tx throughputs. The detail view indicates a Tx throughput
of 46 Mbps and an Rx throughput of 47 Mbps.
3 Shows a C1 Tx discard rate of ~100%, which for a configured C1 capacity of
nominally 50 Mbps means a ~50 Mbps discard. (100 Mbps ingressing P1 but
with C1 configured for ~50 Mbps.
