IMPORTANT:
Make sure that the entire barcode label adheres tightly to the sample tube.
Do not attach one barcode label on top of another. Attaching more than one barcode label to sample tubes
may prevent the instrument from correctly reading the barcode or may keep the sample tube from spinning.
Do not set the sample tube in the sample rack with the barcode label coming off. The label may cause a
jam inside the instrument while the sample is stirred, preventing proper stirring.
NOTE:
Barcode labels cannot be attached to sample cups.

None
NOTE:
For sample tubes of about 13 mm diameter, set the port guide.
For sample tubes of about 15 mm diameter, remove the port guide. Sample tubes of this size cannot fit in
the rack due to the port guide.
If the port guide is dirty with sample or other substance, the barcode may become smudged with dirt and
prevent the instrument from correctly reading the barcode. Therefore, wipe clean any adhering sample, etc.
As for the normal rack (no label), start rack (START), anemia rack (ANEMIA) and calibration rack (CAL), do
not mix sample tubes of 13 mm and 15 mm diameters in a rack.
