Speed Transducer Calibration
The speed transducer must be calibrated to ensure correct speed and log
values are displayed. There are three ways in which you can do this:
Auto: Automatically record the correction factor after making 2 or
more runs between the two charted objects.
Manual: Manually key-in a correction factor. This is calculated after
making two or more runs between two charted objects approximately
1NM apart (the average after 2 or more runs must be between 0.00 and
2.55).
GPS: Match your actual speed with the speed over ground (SOG)
sourced from GPS.
