• System refers to heading information displayed by all SeaTalk
display heads. Local refers to heading information displayed by a
single display head only.
For example; you may wish to have all your display heads displaying
magnetic headings. However, the navigator may want true heading
information at the chart table. By selecting local true on the head at
the chart table, the navigator can view all headings in true values
while all the others heads display magnetic.
