Switching the Transducer ON and OFF
The depth transducer can be switched ON or OFF as required. This is
useful if you already have a fishfinder and the operating frequency is
the same as the ST80 depth transducer.
D2209-1
Advance to next chapter or
press for 1 second to
illumination adjustment.
Go to the next page.
Press for 1 second to return
to previous page.
Turn transducer ON/OFF.
Note: SeaTalk sentences are not generated unless setup data is requested
when the transducer is off.
Response Page
Depth response adjustments are made in exactly the same way as
described in the speed setup chapter. Once again 0 is the greatest
amount of damping and 15 the least.
Depth Units Page
The depth units can be set to FT (feet), M (metres) or FA (fathoms).
Upon entering the units display, the currently selected units are
displayed.
Units selection is not available if the active depth is not connected to
SeaTalk.
