Turn rate is the rate in degrees per second at which course changes are
applied under autopilot control.

The range is from 5° to 20° per second. The default settings are:
(a) Displacement craft: 20°
(b) Semi displacement: 15°
(c) Planing: 15°
(d) Stern drive: 8°
Default Speed
Default speed is used when track mode is engaged, and should be set
to your vessel’s normal cruising speed.
Note: If boat speed or speed over ground is available, this is used in
preference to cruise speed.
