The CS351 compact system consists of a housing that contains the entire control and power electronics
for one tightening channel. The CS351 compact system is suitable for the connection of a tightening
spindle or an ErgoSpin hand-held nutrunner. Additional connection of Nexo cordless Wi-Fi nutrunners is
also possible for CS351 with IL. ErgoSpin hand-held nutrunners and field bus cannot be connected to
the CC-CS351E-D compact system.
There are two types of compact systems:
• Compact systems operated self-dependently (see Figures 3–1 and3–2)
• Compact systems operated as slave of a modular system (as of version V2.200 of the Rexroth
Tightening System 350, see Figure 3–3)

A single-channel tightening system based on the compact system consists of the following components:
• CS351E compact system
• One ErgoSpin hand-held nutrunner with connection cable
• CS351E with IL: Nexo cordless Wi-Fi nutrunner
or:
• CS351S compact system
• One tightening spindle with connection cable
• CS351S with IL: Nexo cordless Wi-Fi nutrunner
